Mikumi Safari is a short tour from Dar es Salaam, which takes you to visit one of the spectacular’s southern circuit National parks of Tanzania. The park hosts’ small and large mammals including variety of birds species and reptiles, accommodation can be at the standard or luxury lodges, luxury Tented camp or budget camping sites. Accommodation can be in lodge, tented camp or basic camping booked on full board arrangements.

Itinerary

Day 1 Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

Pick you up at your place in Dar es Salaam and travel 320 km to Mikumi National Park with lunch at the restaurant in Morogoro. After lunch proceed with a drive to the Park for afternoon game drive in the park. This is a home to Elephant, Lion, Wild dog, Zebras, Hyena, Buffalo, Wildebeest, Eland, Hartebeest, Crocodile, Lizard and other residents. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park. Dinner and overnight at Camp Bastian Lodge. Meal Plan, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 2 Mikumi Full Game drive

Morning after breakfast, full day game viewing in the park. The Mikumi flood plain is the main feature of the Park along with the bordering mountain ranges. Animals commonly found here include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, hippo and elephant. The Mikumi elephants are mainly grazers and do not causes tree damage. Dinner and overnight will be at Camp Bastian Lodge. Meal Plan; Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 3 Mikumi – Dar es Salaam

Early morning 2 hour game drive in the park and drive to the hotel for full breakfast. After breakfast leave the park and drive to Dar es Salaam with lunch stop at the restaurant in Morogoro. Continue with a drive to Dar es Salaam at your place where the tour will be end. Meals Plan; Breakfast.
